Notice of Requirement

As per the consent of the Public Service Commission, the following vacant posts in this fund are to be permanently filled through open competition, applications are invited from eligible Nepali citizens from 2081/12/08. Interested applicants who have met the specified qualifications should apply through the fund’s online application system https://vacancy.epf.org.np after completing the process as specified in the notification. If the online form is filled mentioning the Bhutta details, the candidate should be responsible for it. No action will be taken on the applications which are not filed within the deadline and which are not duly filled.
(a) Details of advertisement number and post to be filled through open competition:



(b) In accordance with the mandate order dated 24/10/2079 in the petition related to transfer including Writ No. 078-WO-0660 from the honorable Supreme Court, the post will be filled accordingly after the legal arrangement.
(c) The type of examination will be written for the post of Chief Assistant, computer skill test and interview and written and interview for all other posts.

(1) Eighth level, for the position of manager: Passed master’s degree in management faculty from a recognized educational institution or master’s degree in economics under the faculty of humanities or equivalent and acquired experience of 5 years working in an official position in a government service or an organized organization established according to prevailing laws.
(2) Seventh level, for the position of deputy manager: Master’s degree in management faculty from a recognized educational institution or master’s degree in economics under the humanities faculty or equivalent and have gained 5 years of working experience in an authorized level position in any government service or organized organization established according to prevailing laws.
(3) Seventh level, for the post of Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant): Obtained Chartered Accountancy degree from a recognized educational institution and passed master’s degree in any subject and gained experience of 5 years of working in an officer level position in any government service or organized organization established according to prevailing laws.
(4) 6th level, for the post of Assistant Manager: Master’s Degree in Management Faculty from a recognized educational institution or Master’s Degree in Economics under Faculty of Humanities or equivalent degree.
(5) 6th level, for the post of Assistant Manager (Law): Master’s degree in law or equivalent from a recognized educational institution. (
6) For the post of Assistant Manager (Systems) for the post of 6th level, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
(7) Graduated from a recognized educational institution for the position of fifth level, chief assistant, in the Faculty of Management or Bachelor’s degree in Economics under the Faculty of Humanities or its equivalent degree.
(e) Permanent or Temporary: Permanent.
(f) Pension: Pension based on contribution as per Employee Provident Fund, Employee Service Conditions Regulations, 2078.
(g) Age limit:
(1) Completed the age of eighteen years and not exceeding thirty five years by the last date of application for the fifth level post. But in the case of women and disabled persons, not exceeding forty years.
(2) Completion of twenty-one years in the post of the sixth level and not exceeding thirty-five years. But in the case of women and disabled persons, not exceeding forty years.
(3) Having completed twenty-one years of age and not exceeding forty-five years of age by the last date of application at seventh level or above where work experience is required.
(4) There is no age limit in case of permanent employees of Wahalwala Fund.
(h) Probationary period: It will be in accordance with the provision of Employees’ Provident Fund, Employee Service Conditions Regulations, Rule 32 of 2078.
(i) Salary scale and other facilities will be as per prevailing rules of the fund.
(j) Examinations conducted on the basis of open and inclusive competition under each service will be held jointly at one sitting.

After submitting the online application form, the application fee to be submitted according to the Application Number received can be submitted through Connect IPS, e-Sewa or Khalti. L) The candidate will have to upload only one copy of the minimum educational qualification of the required educational qualification certificates to be submitted. (Serving employees must submit the departmental approval of the agency/organization they are serving.
(d) Application fee: The application fee as specified in the notification should be submitted through Connect IPS, e-Sewa or Khalti within 21 days from the date of publication of this notification. After 21 days from the publication of this notification, the application can be submitted for 7 more days. The application fee of the rejected forms will not be refunded.
(d) Relevant and written examination will be published after the date.
h) There will be a waiting list arrangement in accordance with Rule 27 of Employee Provident Fund, Employee Service Conditions Regulations, 2078.
((t) Equivalence determination certificate: If the candidate applying for the above positions has acquired educational qualification from a country other than Nepal, he must upload a scan copy of the equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University along with it. Also, the candidate must take responsibility for the submitted educational qualification certificates.
(h) In the case of employees working in the permanent service of the fund, the minimum educational qualification required shall be in accordance with the provisions of Rule 13 of Employees’ Provident Fund, Staff Service Conditions Regulations, 2078.
(D) Area to work: Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant), Assistant Manager (Law) and Assistant Manager (Systems) posts in Kathmandu Valley office and other posts in branch offices and service centers outside Kathmandu Valley.
(d) The fund shall have the right to approve/reject the applications received through online.
(N) The written examination of the said posts will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
Special instructions for the candidates applying for inclusive group advertisement: Candidates who want to apply for inclusive group posts should prepare the following documents and apply. After being selected for the interview based on the results of the written test, the self-attested copies of such documents should be brought with them when coming for the interview. If the mentioned documents are not maintained at the time of application, the application may be canceled at any time.
(a) In case of tribals/tribes: In case of castes listed in the Nepal Tribal/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation Act, on the basis of the same list, but if there is more than one surname within the caste listed in the Nepal Tribal/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation Act, a document certified by the chief district officer as the surname listed within the caste on the recommendation of the head of the local level concerned.
(b) In the case of Madhesi: A document certified as Madhesi by the organization specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, but a document certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level until the organization is designated by publication in the Nepal Gazette.
(c) In the case of Dalits: Based on the same list as in the case of castes listed by the National Dalit Commission, however, if there is more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, a document certified by the Chief District Officer as a surname within the listed caste, on the recommendation of the head of the local level concerned.
(d) In case of disabled persons: Disability ID card issued by the Social Welfare Council or Disability ID card issued by the relevant local level stating the classification of disability according to sub-section (3) of Section 4 of the Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2074.
(e) In the case of backward areas: Certificate of citizenship obtained from the respective district mentioning permanent residence in Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu and Humla districts and a document from the relevant local level certifying that the person is currently residing permanently in the same place based on the recommendation up to three months prior to the date of filling the application form, marriage registration certificate in case of marriage and In the case of migration, the document showing the migration of the local level that has been left and gone.
