Notification regarding application call for the appointment of Principal of Nepal Police School Shantipur, Chitwan (first published date 2081.12.26)
For the purpose of appointing a vacant principal in Nepal Police School Shantipur, Chitwan, interested Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications must submit a scan copy to the Secretariat of the Selection Board, Nepal Police Head Office, Welfare Division, School Coordination Desk, Naxal within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of first publication of this notice (9th Baisakh 2082, the next day if that day is a public holiday) This notice is published for the information of all the concerned persons who may apply through phqscd@nepalpolice.gov.np or phqschooldesk@gmail.com. The application form can be downloaded from the Nepal Police website www.nepalpolice.gov.np.
- Eligibility for candidates: For the post of Principal of Nepal Police School, the following qualifications should be met:-
(a) Graduated from a recognized university or institute of study,
(b) having taught for at least 10 years at the secondary level or equivalent post or having at least 5 years of experience as a principal in a secondary level school or working as a deputy professor in a university for at least 3 years,
(c) has not been convicted of a criminal offence,
(d) not being a member of any political party at the time of application,
(e) There is no conflict of interest with the school.
(f) Having completed 30 years on the last date of application and not exceeding 55 years.
- Documents to be submitted with the application:
(a) Self-attested copy of Nepali Citizenship and National Identity Card,
(b) Self-attested copies of documents relating to educational qualifications (including equivalency certificate if from a foreign board),
(c) Attested copy of relevant school/university documents showing work experience in school/university,
(d) 4-year work plan of the school (Work Plan),
(e) Purpose Statement (Purpose of applying, personal opinion about yourself, basis of eligibility)
(f) Copies of academic research articles, compositions and publications published in national or international journals,
(g) self-verified personal details,
(h) Self-declaration letter as per clauses (c), (d) and (e) of point 1,
(i) If selected for the post of principal, a letter of commitment to work full-time in the school until the tenure of the said post remains,
(j) For application fee Rs. 2,000.- (Two thousand only) in Rashtriya Banijya Bank, Tangal in the name of Police Welfare Fund account no. Voucher filed at 1160100001787001.
- Basis of evaluation: Action plan presentation and purpose statement (Purpose Statement), case study (Case Study) and interview.
- Application can be canceled: If it is found that wrong or false documents have been submitted, the selection board can cancel the application of the candidate at any stage.
- Principal’s tenure, service conditions and facilities: Principal’s tenure, service conditions and facilities will be as follows.
(a) The salary of the principal will be as per the starting scale of the secondary teacher first grade of Nepal Government Teacher Service.
(b) The tenure of the Principal shall be 4 years. Based on the evaluation of work performance, it can be extended up to 2 terms.
(c) Principal’s accommodation/food and other facilities including principal’s allowance shall be as prescribed by the concerned Nepal Police School.
